In the same way, there will be no country security in play this time around – so clubs from the same nation can be drawn against one another. Each side will learn not only their opposition for the quarter-final but the support they have been sited into for the semi-final, should they make it through – i.e. the champions of quarter-final A will play the champions of quarter-final B, and the champions of C will play D.

The full draw will be transmitted live. The Champions League draw will be tracked straight by the draw for the final rounds. It is scheduled to begin at midnight and will be broadcast live.
