I also acknowledge the work being done by the International Olympic Committee, Tokyo Olympics Organizing Committee, the Japanese and Tokyo Governments, as well as our member game, athletes and support staff who are doing everything they can to ensure the world can reunite safely in Tokyo in one year for what will be an incredibly powerful Olympic 2020 Games.

Both Powell and Yan will contest in a second successive Olympics, following their debuts in Rio 2016. Bromley is set to make her debut at the Olympics, with the 32-year-old missing out on safeguarding a place at the past three versions of the Games. Sang returns to the Olympic squad after rival at Beijing 2008, before sendoff the sport to have two children.

“It’s so exciting to be back,” Sang supposed.

Now my kids have grown up, I want them to knowledge what table tennis and the Olympics can bargain. I want to show them in movements, not just words so they know if your set-up a goal and contest for it, occasionally you can reach it.
